Beer punch / mulled beer

Ingredients

  • ½ litre Zwettler black beer
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ litre orange juice
  • 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch of gingerbread spice
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • ½ bay leaf
  • ½ juniper berry
  • some vanilla pod
  • 1 tea bag of Glühfix

Preparation

Caramelize the sugar, deglaze with orange juice and reduce slightly. Add the black beer. Add all the spices, leave to infuse gently (do not boil – otherwise it will be bitter!). Sweeten with sugar if necessary!
